We are a Chinese wholesaler of studded finned tubes. Studded finned tubes are made by welding specially shaped studs (round pins) in rows around the tube. Riveted finned tubes are also known as pinned finned tubes. The heat transfer efficiency of Studded finned tube is very high. The heat exchange efficiency is equivalent to 2-3 times of bare tube.

Studded finned tube is generally used in furnaces and boilers where surfaces are exposed to corrosive environments. It also improves the efficiency of heat recovery processes and direct combustion in hazardous atmospheres. Studded fin tubes are ideal for process applications that use unclean fuels and harsh environments. They are easier to clean, especially with dirty fumes from burning heavy oil and diesel fuel.

Finned tubes with studs are made by resistance welding studs to the bare tube.
The fins are made by welding fin material which is resistance welded to the tube with studs or rods at the bottom
by a resistance welding process. Current flows through the tube and the bottom of the stud. The shape of the stud
is specifically designed to facilitate welding. During the fin "welding" process, the stud is also mechanically pressed
against the tube at the weld point, creating a very good mechanical bond. This type of finned tube works well in
high pressure and high temperature applications. This mechanical bond is so strong that it can be used where extreme
mechanical loads and pressures are required during processes such as machining or cleaning.
These finned tubes are used in finned tubes, air coolers, heat exchangers, etc. and are favoured in the following industries

Manufacturing process: Fully automatic welding of studs to tubes by resistance welding.
